The LAS Libraries for Tomorrow (LFT) Conference is a much awaited annual event for local and regional librarians, information specialists, information providers and knowledge creators. This conference is a learning opportunity for all, novice and experienced, as it aims to foster ties that can help libraries see though the challenges of today and tomorrow.

The theme for this year’s event is People, Places and Possibilities.
People An important backbone of service provision, and the very cause for libraries’ presence. Patrons, librarians, vendors, are not all, but some stakeholders of the service provision chain.
Places The physical or virtual host of information and knowledge which facilitates interaction, communication and other exchanges.
Possibilities What the future will become entails exploration of the present and the willingness to embrace change.
