Senior Librarian – Scholarly Publishing & Impact

Key responsibilities:

  • Liaise and work with various stakeholders to enhance research impact measurement services with focus on creating citation reports and altmetrics reports
  • Develop and implement educational programs on scholarly publishing for NTU researchers to help them increase their research visibility and improve their research impact
  • Organise activities and events to provide campus-wide advocacy on open access, researcher profiles, alternative scholarly publishing models, research impact measurement, copyright, and other issues related to scholarly communication
  • Manage and coordinate SPI’s social media accounts to communicate and engage with NTU community online


  • MSc in Information Studies or MLIS, and a Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • Relevant professional working experience in libraries preferred
  • Demonstrated experience providing research assistance, library instruction, outreach program and effectively communicating with faculty, researchers, students, librarians and staff
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including creating and delivering presentations
  • Initiative to learn and gain new knowledge and skills, especially in the areas of scholarly publishing and impact, open access, and copyright
  • Good interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Able to change, adapt and thrive in rapidly changing environments
