Job Description


  • Work closely with the Head (Museum) and relevant NTU members to curate and/ or organise exhibitions, programmes and special projects
  •  Develop collections and initiate partnerships for exhibitions/ programmes with other NTU faculties or external institutions
  • Execute procedures for accessioning and documentation of artworks and artefacts
  • Execute procedures for acquisitions, loan management and access
  • Publicise and promote the collections and programmes of the NTU Museum


  • A good Honours degree in fine art, art history or relevant humanities and social sciences. A higher degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in curatorship, museum development, including museum programming, outreach and donor relations
  • Ability to leverage on technologies to facilitate the implementation of the museum’s virtual exhibitions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A sound understanding of Contemporary or Asian art would be an added advantage

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to help shape the direction of a university-based museum. Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
