Job Description

Responsibilities

As a Management Support Officer (Reference & Information Services) with the Library, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Webmaster of Library Homepage, which includes the maintenance and development of innovative web pages to support library services;
• Online marketing of library services through social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram);
• Develop e-learning courseware to support Information Skills sessions;
• Create online fliers and posters to support library publicity programs;
• Arrange inter-library loans and document supply services;
• Manage events, activities, talks and displays to promote library resources;
• Provide administrative support to Reference section; and
• Provide Reference and Circulation services.

Requirements

• Relevant work and project management experience would be an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office
• Proficient in using Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Scoop.it and other social media for publicity and marketing of library activities/resources
• Familiar with HTML, CSS, Web publishing software, Web graphic editor tool and e-Learning editing tool (e.g. Adobe Captivate)
