Library Executive Staff
There are 2 job vacancies available.
I) Library Executive / Senior Library Executive
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and developmental support on creating and managing online learning modules
- Work with instructional librarians to develop learning objects and graphics for online courses
- Conduct recordings and create a variety of multimedia learning objects
- Work with instructors and monitor participation to support smooth delivery of online and face-to-face classes
- Provide a range of course related administrative support for workshops conducted
- Develop and manage a pool of student assistants
Requirements:
- Diploma, preferably in multi-media communication, web development, open source technologies or learning technologies
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in supporting design, development, testing, maintenance and support of online courses, with supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of e-learning tools and technologies, web technologies, mobile and interactive media, graphic tools and social media tools
- Knowledge and experience in the use of video-editing software, visual graphic software and Microsoft software applications
- Service oriented, with a pleasant disposition and able to interact with a range of library users
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and organizing skills
- Able to work well in a team

II) Library Executive / Senior Library Executive
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the generation of citation reports
- Assist in the generation of altmetrics reports
- Provide assistance in conducting instructional workshops and training
- Provide logistical support for organizing events, activities and talks
- Assist in scholarly publishing related projects
- Manage the mailbox and follow up with the staff-in-charge for timely reply of all queries
- Assist in the collation, compilation and updating of library statistics
Requirements:
- Diploma in any discipline
- Good oral and written communication
- Ability to use Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work with tight deadline
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Willing to keep up-to-date with information technology and library trends
- Service oriented, with a pleasant disposition and good interpersonal skills
- A team player who is resourceful, detail oriented and able to multi-tasks
