Hi LAS members,
So what can we look forward to in March? Well, we finally were able to publish the SJLIM 2011 issue. It contains five articles please read them from: http://www.las.org.sg/wp/resources/publications/sjlim1/sjlim-vol-40-2011/
Come 14 March 2012 it will be the International Pi Day (not the Pie you eat but that strange irrational constant we use to calculate area of a circle) – but more importantly – that’s the day when a team of LAS members head north to Melaka for a meet-up with our friends in PPM. Here’s wishing our traveling members a safe and fruitful trip!
We are also likely to start approaching various librarians requesting for interviews and interesting stories you might wish to share – this is intended for a publication planned for a web page with selected contributions making it into a sourvenir publication that we hope to make ready for the up-coming WLIC conference in 2013. Please give us your greatest support – by participating or even suggesting Librarians that we ought to interview (we would like to capture as much information as possible!).
In the meantime, if you have news about your own libraries or fellow librarians, please let us know so we can post it up at the SLB blog to share with the rest of our members.
