About the ISEAS Library
The ISEAS Library was established in 1968 to serve the research needs of ISEAS researchers as well as scholars interested in the study of the Southeast Asian region. It holds a unique collection of Southeast Asian related materials in areas encompassing economics, international relations, politics, social and cultural studies. With more than 700,000 items in English and Southeast Asian languages, the collection comprises books, journals, maps, microforms, photographs among other formats. Since its establishment, ISEAS Library has been a knowledge hub for research on Southeast Asian studies. In 2013, to support the growing interest in the region, the Library opened its membership to the public.
