Job Description
The National Institute of Education, an Institute of the Nanyang Technological University and the sole teacher education training Institute in Singapore, invites applications for an Officer position in the Library & Information Services Centre.

Requirements
- A Polytechnic Diploma preferably in library studies.
- Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service orientation
- Keen learner who is adaptable and able to work independently and in a team.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and web authoring tools, experience working with multimedia resources and in an academic environment would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
You will provide administrative support in the Library & Information Services Centre. This will include the following:
- Perform loan counter duties, including rostered evening and Saturday shifts.
- Carry out routine checking and trouble-shooting of audio-visual equipment.
- Handle information enquiries.
- Collate and compile statistical reports.
- Liaise with vendors on maintenance and quotations.
- Promote the use of library resources, services and facilities.
Other Information
