This seminar is organised in conjunction with the IFLA Section of Regional Standing Committee (Asia & Oceania) mid-term meeting. It will focus on new learning trends for adults and how these ultimately affect the reach to adults by libraries to foster and support their lifelong learning pursuits.

Speakers
The speakers will be from the local and overseas libraries and/or universities from the Asia and Oceania Region. Further details will be sent in due time.

Topics
 The new adult learning trends and how they could be applied in libraries.
 What are the evidences in terms of use of technology and the changes in andragogy with respect to curriculum planning.
 Alternative learning styles that has been predicted by Universities providing personalisation in terms of the course that students want to take (as it is customised based on the students’ interest).
